Leadwood Nature Reserve is conveniently located near Windhoek, making it an ideal starting or ending point for your Namibian hunting safari. The reserve is named after the famous Leadwood tree (Combretum imberbe) that is found throughout the property.

The area offers excellent hunting for a variety of plains game in a classic Namibian bushveld setting. Combined with comfortable farm-style accommodation and traditional Namibian hospitality, Leadwood provides an authentic African hunting experience.

Itinerary Example – Plains Game or Antelope Hunting:

10-day hunting safari with 8 days in the Leadwood concession area for one hunter accompanied by one
professional hunter, including 7 hunting days on a 1:1 basis.

Day Agenda
Day 1 Arrival at Windhoek International Airport and transfer (approx. 4 hours) to Leadwood Camp. Lunch at camp, followed by rifle zeroing and an afternoon game drive.
Day 2-8 Hunting at Leadwood Nature Reserve
Day 9 Transfer to the airport and departure from Windhoek International Airport
